A starting architecture
Anthropic released ten financial-services agent templates on 5 May, covering work such as pitchbook preparation, financial models, account reconciliation and KYC review. The templates combine instructions, governed data connectors and supporting subagents. They can run as Cowork or Claude Code plugins, or through Managed Agents cookbooks.
The company also described add-ins for Microsoft productivity apps, with Outlook marked as forthcoming in the launch text. A template is a reference architecture rather than a licensed judgement about a client, valuation or compliance case. Anthropic explicitly keeps users involved in review and approval before work is sent, filed or acted on. Firms still need their own data permissions, modelling conventions and evidence checks when adapting those starting points.
