Following an account over time

Cloudflare introduced an Account Abuse Protection dashboard on 2 October for early-access customers. It groups activity from configured login and signup flows, helping investigators move from overall patterns to an individual account. The company says a customer-supplied identifier is cryptographically hashed into a per-domain account identifier.

Context beyond a successful login

The dashboard combines that history with network and device signals. Investigators can examine changes in login volume, failed attempts and shared characteristics across accounts. A successful identity check answers a narrower question than whether later behaviour fits the account. The product is intended to help fraud teams connect those observations; suspicious geography or a shared device is an investigative signal, not automatic proof that an account is fraudulent.
