A strategic product integration
Finster AI announced a partnership with FactSet on 30 March to power FactSet’s AI workflow-automation platform for investment banking. The companies said Finster’s agent infrastructure would support work across banking processes from origination through execution. FactSet also made a minority investment in Finster. Its platform was in private preview with selected clients, with a broader rollout expected during 2026.
Where the agent fits
Finster says its system combines structured financial data, unstructured documents and institutional knowledge to help bankers prepare analysis and materials. That puts it inside a specialised workflow, rather than positioning it as a general-purpose chatbot. FactSet’s announcement provides a distribution route into its banking product base, but private preview means the partnership had not yet demonstrated broad commercial availability. The announcement does not disclose the investment amount or the proportion of Finster owned by FactSet.
