Funding for compliance workflows

Footprint announced a $25 million Series B on 16 September, led by QED Investors, with MUFG, Commerce Ventures, LightBank and Alumni Ventures participating. The company builds software for financial-crime compliance at banks and fintechs, including anti-money-laundering, know-your-customer and transaction-monitoring work. It said the new capital would double its engineering and sales teams and support a San Francisco office.

An auditable agent pitch

Footprint is developing Percy, an agentic system for investigating cases and carrying out standard procedures, alongside Trust Fabric, which connects signals across investigations. The company says Percy records citations, timestamps and task-level audit trails. It also says its technology is used by teams at FDIC- and OCC-regulated banks and fintechs including Bilt, Nuvei and MoonPay. These customer and capability descriptions come from Footprint’s financing announcement; it does not report independent accuracy results or the round’s valuation.
