Freshworks completes its FireHydrant
Freshworks confirmed on 5 January that it had closed its acquisition of FireHydrant. The startup brings on-call management, incident coordination and structured retrospectives used by engineering and reliability teams. Freshworks plans to connect those capabilities with Freshservice’s records of services, assets and operations.
The operating goal is to link an outage’s technical response with the service context used by central IT teams. Freshworks describes shared timelines, summaries and guided workflows as part of its integration direction. Closing the purchase establishes the ownership change; customers still need release details for any combined feature they plan to deploy. The announcement says the teams are moving into integration work and that customers will receive further information.
