An answer can become a tool
OpenAI announced GPT-6 with Intelligent UI on 7 October, allowing chat responses to include controls, charts, forms and interactive diagrams. The system streams native components progressively rather than waiting for a complete interface to finish generating. It can also retain a plain text answer when that format is more useful.
The rollout began with Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise, with Free and Go scheduled from the following day. Paid chat used a tuned GPT-6 Sol model, while Free and Go used Luna; Work and Codex models were unchanged by this release. Interactive presentation can make an explanation easier to inspect, but it does not validate the numbers or logic inside a generated tool. Enterprise availability also remains subject to administrator settings.
