The announcement
Legora announced a $550 million Series D on 10 March at a $5.55 billion valuation. Accel led the financing, with participation from existing investors and new backers including Salesforce Ventures, Bain Capital and Menlo Ventures. The company plans to put the funding into US expansion, talent and infrastructure.
The round coincides with new offices in Houston and Chicago, alongside existing operations in New York and Denver. Legora said it expected more than 300 US employees by the end of 2026. That is a hiring target, not the headcount at announcement. The company named White & Case, Cleary Gottlieb and Goodwin among customers or partners as it builds distribution within the legal industry.
