Beyond a short clip
Google introduced Lyria 3 Pro on 25 March, extending music generations to three minutes and adding stronger control over song structure. Prompts could specify elements such as verses, choruses and transitions. The release followed the shorter music-generation experience that had entered Gemini earlier in the year.
Access routes included public preview on Vertex AI, AI Studio and the Gemini API. Longer generations also reached paid Gemini users, while Google Vids integration began rolling out to eligible Workspace and Google AI subscribers. ProducerAI offered another creative interface. Google said generated audio carried SynthID and that it filtered outputs against existing content. Those safeguards describe the product’s design; they are not a guarantee that every output is suitable for unrestricted distribution.
