Training across machines
Skild AI announced a $1.4 billion Series C on 14 January, led by SoftBank. NVIDIA’s venture arm, Macquarie Capital and Bezos Expeditions participated, alongside existing and strategic investors. The company put its valuation above $14 billion. Its central proposition is software that can control different kinds of robots rather than a separate model for each machine.
The data behind the pitch
Skild said the new capital would expand simulation, internet-video learning, teleoperation and real-world deployment data. It reported growing live revenue from zero to about $30 million over several months in 2025. Those are company-reported figures. The funding supports a strategy of learning across robot bodies and tasks; the announcement does not establish universal performance on every machine.
