The development
WakeCap announced the acquisition of Frontline, an AI-powered construction-planning platform, in a June 14 issuer statement published on June 15. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Frontline lets planners simulate schedules and test activity sequencing and resource allocation before work begins. It serves contractors and project owners in industrial, energy and infrastructure construction. WakeCap’s existing platform captures information from worksites, including workforce and project-control data. Bringing the two together is intended to let teams compare assumptions made during planning with what actually happens during execution. Frontline founders Luis Martinez and Ricky Ding built the company around that scheduling problem. The acquisition adds a planning layer to WakeCap’s jobsite platform; the announcement does not set out a timetable for every integration or customer migration.
