Funding digital identity
Wultra announced a €6.8 million Series A on 29 June, led by Seventure Partners, with participation from ARIADNEXT founders Marc Norlain and Guillaume Despagne and existing investors J&T Ventures and Elevator Ventures. The Czech company sells authentication and digital-identity tools to banks and fintechs, including phishing-resistant and post-quantum-ready features.
Expansion plans
Wultra said it would scale its platform, develop digital-identity wallet capabilities for the European wallet ecosystem, grow its team and pursue customers in the Middle East and United States. It already had a regional hub in Singapore. Those are planned uses of the financing, not completed market entries. Post-quantum readiness here refers to preparing authentication systems for cryptographic transition; the announcement does not establish that the company’s products eliminate all identity-fraud or future quantum risks.
