An additional network for fund tokens

J.P. Morgan Asset Management said on 22 October that two of its tokenized money market funds are available on the Solana blockchain for qualified US investors. The funds are My OnChain Net Yield Fund, or MONY, and JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity-Token Money Market Fund, or JLTXX. The firm says eligible clients can subscribe and redeem through its Morgan Money platform and receive token balances at their blockchain addresses. The expansion adds another network for the same funds; it does not mean the products are open to every retail investor.

Two funds, different structures

The company describes MONY as a private-placement fund for qualified investors, while JLTXX is a US-registered government money market fund designed to support stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act. The firm says the token balances are received at investors’ blockchain addresses after subscribing through its platform. Putting a fund’s representation on another blockchain changes the infrastructure available to eligible clients, not the underlying investment’s terms or risks. Eligibility, fund documents and redemption arrangements remain relevant to anyone considering the products.
