Circle and Tereina bring stablecoins into SAP payment workflows

Circle and SAP-backed financial services company Tereina announced a partnership on 7 October to integrate USDC and EURC into Tereina’s payment infrastructure, beginning with SAP Cloud ERP. The companies say eligible businesses can access the integration through SAP Pay. USDC is the preferred stablecoin for eligible dollar-denominated workflows, with EURC offered for euro activity. The aim is to let finance teams send and receive stablecoin payments from the business applications they already use. That places blockchain settlement alongside enterprise payment and treasury processes, rather than requiring a separate payment interface for each transaction. Over the following months, Circle and Tereina plan customer proof-of-value programmes, training for treasury specialists and work with ecosystem partners. Deployment and organisational adoption remain part of the work. The release does not identify a universal launch for every SAP installation or provide a measured saving per transaction.
