The financing

KAST announced an $80 million Series A on 9 March, co-led by QED Investors and Left Lane Capital. The company offers dollar-denominated accounts and payment tools built on stablecoin rails. It said it would expand in Latin America, North America and the Middle East and invest in licensing, compliance and product development.

What remains unproven

KAST said it served over one million users and processed nearly $5 billion in annualised transaction volume at announcement. Those are company-reported figures, as is its forecast of a $100 million annual revenue run rate in 2026. The announcement gives no country-level breakdown of users, revenue or regulatory permissions.
