Treasury gets another balance type

Kyriba and Circle announced a collaboration on 28 April to embed USDC into Kyriba’s treasury platform. The companies describe monitoring stablecoin balances alongside cash, supporting eligible intercompany payments and managing liquidity beyond conventional bank operating hours. Kyriba’s agentic orchestration layer is intended to work within predefined policies.

Approvals stay in the flow

The announcement says transactions follow existing approval structures and retain audit logs from payment initiation through settlement. That detail matters more to a treasury team than the mere presence of a token: the payment has to fit the company’s controls. The companies say customer data is not stored externally or used for model training. Near-real-time settlement and efficiency improvements are their product claims, with eligibility depending on the particular payment.
