AI policy

Artificial intelligence can assist our work, but human editors remain accountable for everything Capvise Media publishes.

Human accountability

A named human editor is responsible for published journalism. AI systems may support research, transcription, organization, translation, data analysis or production workflows, but they do not receive independent publishing authority.

Verification

AI-generated summaries, claims, citations and calculations must be checked against reliable sources. Synthetic output is not treated as evidence.

Disclosure

We disclose material AI assistance when it meaningfully affects how a work was created or when a reasonable reader could otherwise misunderstand the origin of an image, voice, video or analysis.

Synthetic media

AI-generated or materially altered imagery, audio and video must be labeled. We do not present synthetic depictions as documentary evidence.

Sensitive information

Confidential source material, unpublished investigations, personal data and commercially restricted information must not be entered into unapproved external AI systems.

Ongoing review

This policy will evolve as tools, risks and audience expectations change. Material changes will be recorded on this page.
