Editorial standards
The principles that will govern reporting, analysis, opinion, commercial work and corrections at Capvise Media.
Current publishing status
Capvise Media is in its founding phase and has not opened a full editorial archive. These standards apply to the work as publishing begins and will be updated with accountable editorial leadership and workflow details.
Accuracy and verification
We verify material claims before publication, seek primary documentation where practical and attribute information clearly. Urgency does not eliminate the need for verification.
Anonymous sourcing requires editorial approval and should be used only when the information is important, credible and not reasonably obtainable on the record.
Clear content labels
News, analysis, opinion, data, interviews, Capvise Group communications and sponsored work must be labelled so readers understand the nature of what they are consuming.
Commercial partners do not approve independent editorial coverage. Sponsored material is visually and verbally distinguished from newsroom work.
Ownership and group relationships
Capvise Media was founded by Capvise Group. Coverage involving the Group, any Capvise venture, shared founder, partner, investment or commercial relationship must disclose the relevant connection prominently.
Group access may support sourcing or production; it does not determine independent conclusions or create an endorsement.
Conflicts and disclosures
Writers, editors, researchers and hosts disclose financial, professional or personal interests that could reasonably affect audience trust. Assignments should be changed or declined where a conflict cannot be managed transparently.
Editorial and commercial separation
The commercial team may identify broad audience interests and partnership opportunities. It does not dictate independent editorial conclusions, suppress unfavourable reporting or purchase coverage.
Accountability
Named editors will be responsible for corrections, significant updates and the consistent application of these standards. Readers may contact editor@media.capvise.group.
