September Android Drop adds saved-item memory

Google’s 1 September Android Drop adds a way to ask Gemini to remember where an item was put, saving the location in Find Hub, plus Motion Assist to reduce visual motion during a car ride. Other changes include Guided vision in Gemini Live for blind and low-vision users and Google Keep collaboration inside Messages.

Google says availability depends on Android version, country and supported services. Motion Assist requires Android 17, while other functions have separate eligibility. Guided vision can make mistakes and Google warns it is not a navigation or obstacle-detection tool.
