What changed

DJI announced a commercial drone dock on 14 October that uses an automated battery swap system rated at 25 seconds. The company says the dock can keep a compatible aircraft ready for repeated aerial operations, reducing the time between missions for remote inspection and response workflows.

This is an announced product capability, not evidence of measured uptime in customer deployments. The value depends on the supported aircraft, site preparation, weather limits and the mission software. Operators will need to check local rules for unattended flights and confirm how battery health and fault recovery are handled.
