What changed

DJI launched O4 Ground Station on 16 June as a wide-area transmission system for enterprise drones. It uses a 12-antenna array and automatic band selection, with Gateway Mode linking to FlightHub 2 and Relay Mode supporting offline reach. DJI says it is designed for remote inspections and public-safety missions where a direct signal can be difficult to maintain.

Compatibility is limited to supported DJI docks, enterprise and delivery drones. The release describes intended use cases, not a guarantee of uninterrupted connectivity in every terrain or radio environment. Operators must verify the supported aircraft and local operating rules.
