DJI shrinks its portable 1kWh power station

The device adds built-in charging leads and reaches 80% charge in a stated 58 minutes.

What changed

DJI launched the Power 1000 Mini globally on 20 April, calling it the company’s smallest 1kWh portable power station. The unit includes a retractable 100W USB-C cable, a 400W car charger and an MPPT module, reducing the number of separate accessories needed for charging and solar input.

DJI says it can recharge to 80% in 58 minutes under its stated conditions. The result depends on input source and operating setup. The new model is aimed at travel and content-creation use, where its smaller enclosure trades against the capacity and outputs available on larger Power models.
