Galaxy Buds4 separates open-fit and sealed-fit listening

Samsung announced Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro in its 26 February release, retaining distinct open-fit and canal-fit designs. Buds4 Pro gains a wider woofer, while the family introduces a revised blade with pinch controls and a transparent charging case. Samsung also describes improvements to adaptive cancellation and equalisation.

The company’s high-resolution audio and advanced assistant features depend on compatible devices and software. A Bluetooth connection alone does not provide every Galaxy integration. Buds4 Pro also adds head gestures for call handling and Bixby interaction. General availability was scheduled for 11 March. The physical fit remains a substantive choice between the models: buyers should not treat the Pro label as the only difference or assume that the same ear geometry suits both designs.
