Choose the platform as well as the chassis

HP introduced EliteBook X G2 on 5 January with Intel, AMD and Qualcomm processor options across the family. The Qualcomm G2q reaches up to eighty-five NPU TOPS; the Intel G2i uses Core Ultra Series 3, while the AMD G2a has a different neural-compute ceiling. These are separate configurations, not three processors inside one laptop.

HP also highlighted a sub-kilogram Intel model, OLED display options and a top-mount keyboard design intended to shorten replacement work. A Flip configuration provides convertible modes and an optional stored pen. For business fleets, repair access and software compatibility can matter as much as peak AI throughput. The shared family branding therefore needs to be read with the exact model suffix, processor and display configuration.
