A focus on machine and agent access
Infisical has raised $40 million in a Series B round led by Elad Gil at a $600 million valuation, the security company announced on October 27. Y Combinator, Gradient Ventures and other investors also participated, according to the company.
Infisical says the funding will support its tools for managing application secrets, certificates and privileged access, as well as greater investment in Agent Vault, a product designed to let AI agents access systems without exposing underlying credentials. The company said more than 1,300 organizations use its platform; that customer figure is self-reported.
The round highlights a growing security challenge as automated software gains access to business systems: teams need to control permissions and protect credentials for both human users and machines. Infisical’s announcement describes its plans, but does not independently establish how its products compare with competing security tools.
