What changed

Intel introduced Core Series 3 mobile processors on 16 April for value-focused laptops, commercial PCs and edge devices. The chips use the Core Ultra Series 3 design foundation and Intel 18A manufacturing. Intel says they include up to 40 platform TOPS across CPU, GPU and NPU, plus support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 in supported configurations.

Intel expects more than 70 designs from PC partners, but each laptop’s memory, display and connectivity depend on its maker’s configuration. The company’s speed and battery comparisons are its own tests; they are not a promise that every Core Series 3 laptop will deliver the same results.
