A concept is not a shipment

Lenovo showed several proofs of concept on 6 January, including ThinkPad Rollable XD, a laptop that expands from a 13.3-inch display to nearly sixteen inches. Other demonstrations included a personal AI hub built around two compact ThinkStation PGX systems and experimental glasses tethered to another device.

These exhibits explored how screens and local compute could change a workspace; Lenovo did not present every concept as a product with a confirmed price and shipping date. That distinction is particularly relevant to rollable displays, where a stage demonstration answers different questions from a long-term durability or repair assessment. The company also announced conventional commercial and consumer devices at CES, but those retail introductions should not be used as evidence that its experimental hardware was simultaneously available to buy.
