What changed

Google’s 15 September Pixel Drop adds home-screen widgets for calling or messaging selected contacts, plus notification badges for messages from those people. The company also says Gboard can warn about suspected scams inline in the US, with scam detection for chat notifications expanding to additional regions.

Pixel Watch owners receive Raise to Talk improvements and more integrations for one-handed gestures. The changes roll out by device and market, and Google describes these features as available across eligible products rather than every Pixel model.
