A staged rollout

Samsung began rolling out One UI 9 on 16 September, starting with Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra. The update had debuted on the Galaxy Z Fold8 family and Flip8. Samsung said it would expand to additional devices, with timing varying by market and model.

Among the features Samsung highlights are My FanCam, which tracks and reframes a selected person in recorded video, and expanded customization and Galaxy AI tools. The announcement describes planned availability but does not guarantee that every listed function reaches every device. Carrier, region and hardware support affect rollout and feature access.
